Made it safely into Dubai and my friends' apartment. It is absolutely beautiful and amazing here. Right on the ocean (technically the Arabian Gulf) with huge sparkling skyscrapers all around you.
Getting ready to go explore the city on my own. Little nervous but they say Dubai is very safe. Looking forward to finding this lime/mint concoction to drink and some camel meat. Yum... If I'm lucky we're going to the camel races tomorrow morning. Wish me luck! Mandy
